UniBot AI Learning Platform Design

Platform UX/UI redesign, product architecture and web design for an AI-powered learning management ecosystem.

The Ash Design project case study preview

UniBot is an AI-powered learning management platform used across multiple educational workflows. Admins, teachers, and students were already relying on the product for dashboards, analytics, scheduling, progress tracking, and role-specific tasks. The functionality was there, but the interface did not yet communicate the intelligence and structure of the system underneath.

The challenge was to redesign UniBot as a coherent platform ecosystem. Each user role needed a different experience: admins needed fast access to institutional data, teachers needed clear course and workflow management, and students needed an intuitive way to track learning progress. Our work focused on product architecture, UX/UI redesign, web design, and a visual system that could scale across the whole platform.

We started with information hierarchy and navigation. Instead of presenting every feature with the same weight, dashboards were restructured around priority: key metrics first, supporting data below, and role-specific actions placed where users naturally needed them. Sidebar navigation became more predictable, page structure was simplified, and dense analytical screens were reorganized so users could scan the platform faster.

Because UniBot works as an ecosystem rather than a single-purpose dashboard, consistency became a major design principle. We refined typography, spacing, cards, data blocks, and interaction patterns so that the platform felt connected across admin, teacher, and student experiences while still respecting the needs of each audience.

A dark theme was introduced as a functional design decision. It reduces visual fatigue during long sessions, supports data-heavy workflows, and reinforces the platform’s AI-driven positioning. Light and dark variants share the same underlying product design system, keeping the experience consistent across contexts.

The result is a clearer, more scalable AI education platform. Admins can move through data faster, teachers can manage workflows with less friction, and students get a cleaner view of their progress. UniBot now feels like a structured digital product ecosystem rather than a set of disconnected screens.
