BioMed Accelerator

BioMed Accelerator is an investment company focused on biomedical and life sciences portfolio companies. The existing digital presence didn't reflect the scale or credibility of the firm's investment activity — the site needed to close that gap before it started costing the firm in first impressions.

The scope covered five pages: Home, Strategy, About, Portfolio, and News, with Contact integrated as a persistent component. Each page answers one question cleanly — the navigation moves visitors from vision to investment focus to portfolio without requiring them to search for what they came to find.

The portfolio page was the critical deliverable. Investment firms in life sciences operate in a category where credibility is the product — and the portfolio is where that credibility is either demonstrated or lost. We designed it around the information density and browsability of leading VC portfolio pages: filterable, scannable, and structured to surface each company clearly without visual noise.

The visual system is clean and minimalist throughout — professional typography, controlled use of growth and scale motifs, and nothing decorative that doesn't earn its place. The design communicates expertise and stability before a visitor processes a single line of copy.

A WordPress CMS was configured alongside the design to allow non-technical content management: new portfolio entries and news items can be added without developer involvement, keeping the site current without recurring development costs.

BioMed Accelerator now has a digital presence that matches the seriousness of the firm — and a portfolio page that gives its invested companies a showcase worth pointing to.
