E-Commerce Redesign for a Beauty Brand

Sol Cosmetics specializes in lip products with a clear premium positioning — but the existing platform wasn't carrying that through. Navigation was creating friction, product discovery felt unstructured, and checkout was losing users before conversion. The redesign brief covered the full experience: usability, visual identity, and content production.


We started with the user flow. A full audit of the existing journey identified where users were dropping off — in navigation, product browsing, and checkout. The information architecture was restructured to make discovery intuitive: cleaner category logic, improved hierarchy, and a checkout sequence simplified to minimize abandonment at the final step.


The visual language was rebuilt around a consistent layout system — warm, refined, and contemporary. Improved typography hierarchy and readability keep the interface clear without losing the approachable tone the brand needs. The design system and UI kit were built for scalability: consistent across current pages and flexible enough to support product line expansion without starting over.


Alongside the UX work, we used AI tools to generate branded visual content for the website and social media — imagery calibrated to Sol Cosmetics' color palette, tone, and mood. The output gave the brand a content production system that's efficient and on-brand, rather than dependent on individual photoshoots for every new asset.


The result is a platform that converts better and communicates the brand more consistently — with a content infrastructure that scales alongside it.
